With everything still frozen solid and under a ton of snow, the bulldogs and I had very little choice but to just give in and build a snowman. Despite Denis thinking it was a toilet, Charlie thinking that everyone that went near it whilst I was building it needed to be told off we did actually manage to get one built. News over the weekend that the Beckhams are already fed up with their bulldog and have given it away to Gordon Ramsay came as no suprise, if ever there was proof that thought needs to go into buying a dog they've just provided it. Will the idiocy of celebrities never end! Mind you it would be interesting to know who sold the pup to her. Not a good sale really.I think the breeder has to take some responsibility. They got a lot of money.
ReplyDeleteIf the breeder has any thing about them they will of already been in touch with Beckhams and told them there is a full refund is awaiting the return of the dog. There's no wonder back yard breeding is such a problem people seeing this story will be thinking 2 grand a dog I'll have a go at that wich result's in even more bad press and work for Bulldog Rescue...

ReplyDeleteI think we should write to David and Victoria Beckham and tell them about the work of Bulldog Rescue, mentioning that the sort of example they are setting is CAUSING the problem and suggesting that some of their thousands they earn today might with benefit be passed in our direction!
